Alfresco Software named Westernacher Products & Services AG “Alfresco EMEA Partner of the Year 2009”. Each year, Alfresco, the leading solution provider of Open Source ECM solutions, grants this award to consulting companies demonstrating outstanding success in Alfresco implementations.
In the last several years, Alfresco has built up an extended partner network. Christian Thiede, Alfresco Sales Director for Germany & Austria, talks about the important role of Alfresco partners in the success of Alfresco: “Our partners are the guarantor for successful implementations in worldwide companies and agencies. In particular, long-time Alfresco Partner Westernacher has exhibited an impressive project track record, and was awarded "EMEA Partner of the Year” for the second time. The consulting firm, based in Wiesloch, significantly increased its order volume in 2009 by winning five new customers. The quality and length of these new contracts were particularly outstanding. It is these large projects with a higher than average number of subscriptions that distinguishes Westernacher from other Alfresco partners. Westernacher, who works with Alfresco since 2006, also achieved a 100 percent success rate for the extension of all expiring Alfresco contracts.
