WLS™ is Westernacher’s own warehouse management and material flow control system on SAP Netweaver Basis.
The strength of WLS™ is the control of automated warehouses and the integrated versatile material flow control system. In WLS™, all stock is transparent at any time. Via its PLC-interface, WLS™ controls automated devices like cranes, conveyors, sorters, sensors, label applicators, shrink wrappers, scales, shape checks, and stacking robots.
WLS™ supports handheld and forklift-mounted terminals, mobile printers, pick-to-light workplaces and pick-to voice systems. Due to the flexible architecture, WLS™ can be configured as a pure material flow control system and be combined with LE-WM or TRM.
Due to its warehouse client concept, WLS™ is especially suitable for logistics service providers. The WLS™ Manager component supports booking of material movements of goods from disparate owners in individual accounting areas. The WLS™ Information System (that generates reports, dialogs, statistics, and records) is also designed on this principle, making it possible to manage stocks in total logical independence from each other, even though the stocks themselves may be stored together in the individual storage and order-picking areas.
