Westernacher offers pragmatic hands-on support in all aspects and roles of project management. We are prepared to bring our methodologies, including a rigorous risk management approach, to bear for your organization. Alternatively, we can adapt to your own project management methodology as we have for many of our clients.

Through years of experience with clients and in-house implementations, Westernacher has in-depth experience in all phases of project management. The vast experience we have acquired from working with clients using a continuous improvement approach, combined with the high quality standards we apply to our own projects, enables us to constantly hone the services we provide, particularly in the following areas:

• Selection and customization of tools that best fit your company, project and requirement
• Structured and hands-on support in the requirements analysis phase, including business process analysis and documentation where required
• Project planning and management support with focus on requirements management, risk management and quality assurance
• Assistance in requirements analysis and commissioning of systems or system environments that must comply with the GAAP / IAS or the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (in particular Section 404) respectively
• Multi-project management services and Project Office staffing which may be complemented by implementing ipm, a proprietary Westernacher project management tool
• Onsite Management for near shore and offshore projects: Upon request, we can provide project liaison to monitor and ensure the offshore realization of IT applications by interfacing between the local client and the offshore vendor(s)

Of particular interest is our depth of experience in Requirements Management (RM) and Quality Assurance (QA) to include Configuration Management.

Training Services for Project Management

In addition to our hands-on Requirements Management services, we also offer “train the trainer” training programs in Requirements Management and Project Management. Our comprehensive program is designed to make participants view requirements deliverables as integral input to effective project management.
